Ketamin 10% inj
Ketamine can be used to induce anaesthesia in combination with alpha-2 agonists, benzodiazepines or neuroleptics. In most species is advisable to combine with xylazine. Ketamin 10% inj contains 100 mg Ketamine (as HCl) and is a potent dissociative anaesthetic agent and induces a state of catalepsy with amnesia and analgesia: muscle tone is maintained including the pharyngeal and laryngeal reflexes. Heart rate, blood pressure and cardiac output are increased; respiratory depression is not a noticeable feature. All these characteristics may be modified if the product is used in combination with other agents.
This anaesthetic can be used for immobilisation, sedation and general anaesthesia for cattle, horses, goats, swine, dogs and cats.

Xylazin 2% inj
Xylazine is an alpha-2 antagonist with sedative, analgesic and muscle relaxant properties. Xylazin 2% contains 20 mg Xylazine (as HCl) and can be used in all cases where sedation is needed; during transport, parturition, hoof treatment, x-ray examinations and for smaller operations. Sedation is dose-dependent, usually maintained for 1 to 2 hours, while analgesia lasts from 15 to 30 minutes. The centrally-acting muscle relaxant effect causes relaxation of the skeletal musculature, complementing sedation and analgesia.
Xylazin 2% inj can also be used as premedication for surgery and local or regional anaesthesia in cattle, horses, sheep, goats, dogs and cats.
